Young Carers

Young Carers are children and young people under the age of 18 who take on and provide a considerable amount of care and support to a family member or friend who has a physical or learning disability, long term illness, mental health needs or an issue with drugs or alcohol. Read more

Young Carers & Young Adult Carers

Here at the ECIL services we run a project specifically for Young Adult Carers. The aim of the project is to support Young Adult Carers (YACs) aged 16-25 through their transitions to adulthood all whilst looking after a family member or friend. Read more
