Venue of the month - July
Nando's - Ealing Common
Nando's has recently opened a new branch in the centre of Ealing, but the Venue of the month this time is for the longer established outlet at Ealing Common. Nando's is located close to Ealing Common tube station on the Uxbridge Road and has good access by way of an internal ramp at the entrance. There is also an accessible toilet and moveable tables and chairs.

Disability Connect meetings
The Disability Connect meeting, on 21st April, was a great success. It was attended by Alun Davies, the Chair of the Disability Committee at the Equality and Human Rights Commission, and a number of representatives from LBE's Social and Health Services departments, including Matthew Booth, Stephen Day, Debbie Gray and David Cooper. Direct Payments User Group
The next meeting is planned for 12th August, 2pm - 4pm, at 1 Bayham Road, W13. Join the group if you have questions and issues about Direct Payments. Our last meeting took place on Tuesday 28th May '09. This was a follow up from our meeting in April, when we were joined by Paul Oppe, Programme Manager, Adults' Services Personalisation Programme at LBE.

This annual event is here again. Come and join us, on Thursday 20th August, 3.00pm till 6.00pm, at 1 Bayham Road, W13, to enjoy a great evening of socialising.
FREE Advice Sessions with an Occupational Therapist
Anne Barrow, experienced Occupational Therapist (HPC registered), problem solves on independent living issues. Anne can advise on a range of topics.
Transport for London
