The DAB: ECIL’s new Disability Advice Bureau
ECIL has joined forces with Ealing Mencap to provide a comprehensive information and advice service to disabled people in the borough. Fran, Jo, David & Susie from the Bayham Road site now work alongside Matt & Tony from Mencap, in the newly branded DAB offices beside the Carers’ Centre in South Ealing. Alka, Mencap’s carers’ advocate, is now permanently based in the Carers’ Centre, which forms part of the DAB. This makes 44-46 South Ealing Road a one stop shop for disabled people and carers seeking support. Please don’t go to Bayham Rd for your info/advice appointment. Disability Connect meetings
The Disability Connect has been involved in a number of marches and demonstrations, to make our views on the cuts known. Please keep checking this space for information regarding the next meeting. Thank you for your continued support.
Individual Budget Users Group
The last Individual Budgets User Group (IBUG) meeting took place in March '12. Cash budgets were discussed. The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday 22nd May '12, 2pm - 4pm, at 1 Bayham Road, W13.

Artisticus I - The arts at ECIL on Fridays
Join our art group, supported by artists from SAGE. The sessions are running at 1 Bayham Road, W13, on Fridays, 3pm - 5pm, to draw and paint. The materials are provided, at a cost of £1 per person. Phone 020 8840 3682 for more details.
